BRAXTED PARK, MAY 16, 2008 – Lysanda, developer of emissions monitoring software, has completed a second round of VC funding led by Logispring, the transatlantic venture and growth capital investor with offices in Geneva and New York. The latest investment of £1,250,000 will enable the company’s first product, branded “Eco-LogTM”, to go into production during 2008.

In the autumn of 2005 Lysanda applied for the newly launched Shell Springboard award. To a 3 person strong start-up company, the offer of a £40,000 grant from a large industrial body was impossible to resist. Lysanda’s first product, the Eco-LogTM, was still in very early development and had only just emerged from the drawing board. The Eco-LogTM promised to help drivers save fuel by analysing driver behaviour and providing the driver with real time feedback which could be used to reduce the vehicles fuel consumption.
In February 2006, the small Lysanda team were delighted to be informed that Lysanda had made it to the Shell Springboard finals. On this occasion, Lysanda were beaten to the grant by more mature companies.Since 2006 much has changed at Lysanda, the company now has 29 employees and supplies fuel monitoring and fleet optimisation technology to some of the world’s most demanding customers – Including Shell! In 2009, Shell Global Solutions were pleased to select Lysanda’s Eco-LogTM to support a number of its fuel save challenge driving events. The accuracy and performance of Eco-LogTM has enabled Shell to clearly demonstrate their products advantages.
